“What irritates you about co-workers?”

Your co-workers are the people that you are going to interact with on a regular basis if you get hired for the job. When spending that much time with someone, it is only natural that you will find things that irritate you about them. However it would not be wise to let any negative feelings towards them hinder your work performance or interfere with the team’s dynamic. It is important that you get along with them, at least on a professional level, so you can always produce quality work.

This question is designed to find out if you get along well with others on a team, and whether or not you’ll be a good fit with the interviewer’s organization. It’s “question-ception” (a question within a question). Think hard but fail to come up with anything that really irritated you about your co-workers at your previous position. Instead, talk about your abilities to adapt and adjust to anyone when necessary. A short, positive response is always best! For example: “I enjoy working with all kinds of people because I believe everyone has a unique set of skills and experiences to bring to the table!”
